One little mark, two completely different meanings
Lesson 11 of 14 Year 5
Task 1 gives the letter of the right option as printed on the sheet. Task 2 lists the mistakes in the order they appear, with the correction. Task 3 and 4 answers are models, not the only acceptable wording: any answer that uses the rule the lesson taught should be credited.

An extra comma splits things that belong together: I love, cooking makes no sense, and the family still gets cooked because there is no comma after cooking. One comma does the job: I love cooking, my family and my dog. A comma really belongs after love when love is an item in a list: Our smoothies are made with love, bananas and ice.
