Split it at the join. Beginning on the left, whole root on the right, nothing lost.

Polpetta is unhappy today. He tried to rewrite the menu and mispelt the soup in letters a foot high, and now he is dissatisfied with all of it. The new coffee machine is automatic, but nobody can find the switch, so the queue reaches the supermaket next door and the noise is unbearable. The cheese has a strange colour, the label is incorect, and an inter national delivery of olives has been sitting on the step since Tuesday. Nonna says the whole argument was unecessary, and asks that nobody interupt her while she stirs. Please do not argue with the chef about any of it.
One word keeps a double letter and is already right. One beginning has been left standing on its own.

Help Polpetta

Chef Polpetta

I have mended the notice: Do not misspel the daily specials. I put the second s in, exactly where you told me.

Tell him why it is still wrong, and write him one more word where two letters meet.
