Either way the dashboard only opens once your account is approved. Pupils don't sign in here; they join games from the app with a PIN.

Lesson packs
Every lesson comes with a whole-class slide deck and three differentiated worksheets, Mild, Medium and Spicy, the same bands as the games. Open a deck to teach from, download the PowerPoint to edit, or print the worksheet each group needs.
My classes
Each class gets a join code your pupils enter once to appear on your roster. Tap a class to see who's joined. We store only a nickname, never real names or emails.
Tap a chef to open their settings. Select several, then drop them into a group. Groups are teacher-side only, chefs never see a group name.
Gentle mode for everyoneSets no-timers as the class default. Individual chefs can still be changed.
Story mode onOff means straight into free-roam and the Daily Special, better for short classroom sessions.
Show the Daily Special boardThis is where your served menu lands. Turning it off hides teacher-set work entirely.
Hide leaderboardsLive class games still run; the podium shows scores without a class ranking.
Join code
,
Why this matters. A code that stays open forever can be guessed. Close joining once your class is in, and issue a new code each year.

Deleting removes the class, every roster entry, every access setting and every assignment. Nothing is kept.
Privacy by design: SPAGhetti stores only a class code and pupil nicknames. Live games keep scores only while the game is running, and deleting a class now removes its roster too.
Whole-class game
Class quiz · a ready-made quiz for any lesson
Pick a lesson and a quiz is generated from its game bank and lesson pack. Run it on one screen in teams (nothing to set up, no sign-in), or with pupil devices joining by PIN.
Service! rush
Pick a game and spice, ring the service bell, and a big PIN appears on your board. Pupils open the app, type the PIN and their name, and play along live from their own devices.

Today's menu
Tick what the class should practise, and star one skill to make it the focus. A focus follows each chef into whatever they choose to play, so you get the practice without fixing anyone's route.

Nudge
Free-roam untouched. A glowing quest and bonus stars pull toward the focus; every game quietly serves focus words. Default.
Gate
"Five minutes of this, then the café's yours." One short task unlocks free play for the session.
Directed
Runs as the live whole-class game instead. Takes you to that tab with the skill already chosen.

Homework
Set a skill and a portion; each chef picks which dishes to cook from a small takeaway menu. Free-roam stays open, so it's a doorway rather than a gate.

Kitchen check
How the class is doing against what you set. Progress comes from each chef's own device, so it fills in as they play.

What "secure" means here: . A game score is not an assessment, so that rule is printed on every export too. Chefs with no data yet simply haven't played since this was set.
