The café was busy all Saturday. Marco pushed open the kitchen door and said, The soup is ready. Where is the salt? asked Grace, reaching past him for the tray. Nonna looked up from the pans and asked, "who wants pasta?" "It is too hot! laughed Ben." Outside, the rain fell on the empty tables and nobody said a word all afternoon. When the bell rang again, Mia called, Table four! and picked up two plates. Ben whispered, "I am starving. The waiter smiled and said, "Enjoy your meal."
One line is already right, one sentence has no speech in it at all, and one pair of marks never closes.

Help Polpetta

Chef Polpetta

I have tidied up what Nonna told me. Nonna said that "the dinner was ready." I put the marks in this time, so it must be right!

Tell him why the marks do not belong there, then write the same idea as real speech.
