SPAGhetti is built for all learners, including children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Accessibility isn't an add-on for us, it shapes how we design every game, from speech-and-language (SALT) techniques to friendly, low-pressure play. This statement explains what we do today and what we're still working on.
We are actively building a dedicated accessibility settings panel, including: a dyslexia-friendly font toggle, larger text and targets, high-contrast and reduced-motion modes, and warm recorded human voice-over in place of synthetic speech. We aim to move towards WCAG 2.2 AA as a guiding standard.
SPAGhetti is a young product and not yet fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Some games rely on colour and drag-and-drop that we are still improving for keyboard and screen-reader use. We are addressing these as a priority.
If you or your child meet a barrier using SPAGhetti, please tell us, it genuinely helps us improve. Email admin@playspaghetti.com and we'll respond as soon as we can.
